Jessica is excited about her first year as a PhD student at the University of Oregon, where she will focus her efforts on the connections between behavioral economics and marketing.
Her ultimate goal is to teach marketing to university students while continuing to contribute to industry research, so the opportunity to join the community of Raymund Fellows is particularly rewarding.
Jessica recently graduated from Gonzaga University with two degrees that helped define her interdisciplinary interest in the decision-making process.
While completing a bachelor of arts in economics and a bachelor of business administration with concentrations in marketing and economics, she worked on research projects with Professor Ryan Herzoh, PhD. They explored the effects of government debt on economic growth, and Jessica has also investigated the relationship between infectious disease and international travel.
She is incredibly appreciative of the support of the university and the fellowship in pursuit of her research goals.
