Duties:
GE is needed for a large undergraduate class in the Winter 2026 term, specifically GEOG 202: Geography of Europe. The GE will be responsible for leading 3 discussion sections, grading up to 60 students, communicating with the instructor and students, and holding regular weekly office hours. Constructive feedback is expected along with the assignment of grades. The GE must be able to attend class lectures (MW 12-13:20) and teach 3 discussion sections at the following times: Wednesday afternoons, 14-14:50, 15-15:50, and 16-16:50. Preference will be given to CAS doctoral and then CAS master's students.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading discussion sections and grading in writing-based courses; some familiarity with the discipline of geography or related social sciences.
