Per the Continuous Enrollment Policy, summer session registration is not required unless: a) it is the student's first term in the program, or b) the student's program requires it.
GEs employed at or above the minimum FTE for a GE position are exempt from payment of tuition and of fees for self-support courses that are required for the completion of the degree for up to 16 credit hours taken in any quarter to which the appointment applies. See Article 23 of the GTFF CBA for details.
Students should consult Article 19, Section 6 of the GTFF CBA for more information on their fee responsibilities during Summer.
Note: The summer tuition waiver does NOT cover courses that are not required for the degree, such as PE classes or other classes that do not count toward a degree.
