International students have a few extra requirements. These are noted throughout the steps below.

Step 6: For International Applicants - Financial Verification

If you are admitted and plan to study at the UO on an F-1 or J-1 visa, you must submit required documentation before your immigration documents can be issued.

This includes:

  • Proof of financial support for at least one year of tuition, fees, and living expenses
  • A copy of your passport photo page

If you already hold an active F-1 or J-1 SEVIS record, financial documentation is still required before your transfer can be processed.
