How can podcasting and public audio storytelling bring the environmental humanities to wider audiences? This mini-symposium and reception celebrates the launch of Environmental Futures, the new podcast from the Center for Environmental Futures. The event is organized by Melody Allison, PhD student in Philosophy and New Media and Culture Certificate student, and grows out of her central project with the NMCC. Melody will speak alongside two acclaimed podcasters:
- Melody Allison, Environmental Futures podcast; PhD Student in Philosophy, UO
- Sean J. Patrick Carney, Time Zero podcast
- Leah Sottile, Burn Wild and Bundyville podcasts
Join us to support a member of the NMCC community and to talk about the possibilities of audio as a medium for public scholarship.
Sponsored by the Center for Environmental Futures.
