The UO ETD Style and Policy Manual was recently given a significant update. The new manual's format guidelines are less restrictive than past versions, allowing students greater flexibility to make decisions about how to format various elements of the ETD.
To allow for continuity for students who have already started formatting their ETDs using the 2021 manual, we will accept documents formatted under either set of guidelines through Summer 2023. Starting with Fall 2023 degrees, the 2023 version of the manual must be followed.
