Duties:
Teaching Assistant GEs are responsible for helping faculty with teaching and administrative tasks including but not limited to: in class contact hours (e.g. lead discussion section, assist with class activities); assisting with preparation of the syllabus and course materials; engaging in contact hours with students outside the classroom (e.g., maintain office hours, provide academic assistance, provide constructive and evaluative feedback); and attending university/department approved trainings.
This position will support the Ballmer Institute’s Graduate Microcredential in Child Behavioral Health. This program is synchronously delivered via Zoom in the evenings (T/W/Th 6-8:50pm)
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants should have:
- Significant coursework in psychology, human behavior, or a closely related field
- A current grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a scale of 4)
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
