Duties:
GEs at .49 FTE are responsible for assisting the instructor, leading two (2) discussion sections of SOC 204 or SOC 207, and grading.
GEs at .40 FTE are responsible for assisting the instructor and grading.
We are currently hiring for an immediate need of at least one GE but anticipate making additional offers to the applicant pool in either the Winter and/or the Spring 2025.
Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants should have:
- Significant understanding of the sociological perspective with an emphasis on fundamental concepts, theories, and methods of research.
- Significant knowledge of social inequality based on social class, race, and gender, both cross-culturally and within the United States.
- Record of academic excellence.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills
Graduate students pursuing any Master’s or doctoral degree may apply.
