The Division of Graduate Studies is investing in new staff and technology to improve graduate students’ experiences at the UO. As part of this effort, the Division has hired a new Director of Systems, Hannah Schneider-Lynch. 

Hannah will provide the Division and our partners with Customer Relationship Management leadership and support. She will supervise an outstanding Systems team to use and develop administrative technology to enhance our ability to recruit and admit graduate students, track graduate students’ academic progress, improve processes for students and programs, enhance communications with prospective and current students, and advocate for technology solutions in graduate education. This work will help the Division elevate graduate student and academic program customer service and the Division’s ability to make data-driven decisions. 

Hannah has worked in the UO Division of Graduate Studies for 7 years, previously as Academic Affairs and Student Admissions Specialist and then Director of Admissions. Hannah stood out among a highly qualified pool of candidates as a strong, sharp, creative, and caring leader who places equity and diversity at the center of her work. The Division's outstanding Systems team includes Sky Semour and Holly Swartz.
