Duties:
The Asian Studies Program seeks a GE to assist with the course ASIA 399: Japanese Popular Culture. FTE is variable due to final allocations/workloads.
Duties:
• Grading homework and tests
• Proctoring tests, holding weekly office hours
• Attending class sessions (TR 14-1520)
• Attending class-preparation meetings
• Assisting instructor of record with course
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Japanese culture and/or East Asian culture
• Experience teaching a topic in East Asian studies
• Basic computer skills (Word, PPT, Excel, and Canvas)
• Communication and problem-solving skills (team teaching)
• The ability to follow instructions, work accurately and in a timely fashion
