Gregory (Greg) Marlow, Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians, came to the University of Oregon's Masters in Business Administration (MBA) program with several years of work experience in Big 4 consulting. His background in data analytics and risk management gave him a solid background in business practices, but he wanted to get his master’s degree to put a finer point on his knowledge and experience.
Marlow is obtaining the MBA to help open doors to opportunities that his tribal forebears did not have access to. He is grateful for his Future Stewards award and the opportunity to study that comes with it. Marlow works with the business development leadership team at his Tribal offices. He is looking forward to utilizing the advantages that Tribal companies have and helping them set up their own consulting practices after he graduates.
